You must be at least 21 years old to rent a car in French Guiana with Europcar and have a 1-year driving license.

To pick up your rental car, please present the following documents:

• Identity document: An official document proving your identity.

• Valid driver's license: Make sure it is valid and recognized in French Guiana.

• Credit card: Necessary for the security deposit and payments. Please note All these documents must be in the name of the main driver of the rental.

We accept all credit and debit cards compatible with deposit transactions. Please note that Mastercard Maestro, Visa Electron or V Pay are not accepted for deposits, as they are not compatible with this type of transaction. In addition to these options, we also accept cash payments, up to the legal limit of 1000 euros. It is important to note, however, that the vehicle rental deposit must be paid by debit or credit card. This is to ensure a secure transaction in line with our rental policies.

Requiring a credit card when renting a vehicle from Europcar Guyane fulfills two essential functions. Firstly, it is used to block a deposit.
