The Smile Festival in French Guiana: What is it ?

The Smile Festival is an unmissable French Guyanese event, the first edition of which was sold out! For two days, it brings together activities produced by partners and concerts by talented local and international artists.

Created by two Kourouciens, Lino and Jules, the festival is the fruit of their long-held dream after exploring the Antillo-Guyanese festivals.

Each year, the festival offers a different theme. For this second edition, the theme is "Conquering space", in partnership with CNES. La Cocoteraie beach will be adorned with its finest attire to respect this theme, and festival-goers are invited to participate.

Please note : on July 9, the launch of the new Ariane 6 rocket will take place.

Where is the Smile Festival located?

The Smile Festival will take place on Cocoteraie beach in Kourou, approximately 1 hour from Cayenne airport. Europcar Guyane, official partner, makes your travel easier by providing you with rental vehicles of all categories as soon as you arrive at the airport.
