On 3 and 4 October 2026, Salon du Rhum Guyane returns to Hôtel Loubère in Cayenne for a new edition celebrating rum, gastronomy and shared experiences.

2026 French Guiana Rum Fair: What Does This New Edition Have in Store for You?

For two days, Salon du Rhum invites professionals, enthusiasts and curious visitors to explore the world of rum in a friendly atmosphere.

The 2026 edition features 3 villages bringing together rum houses, tastings, cocktails and food, accompanied by musical entertainment.

It is an opportunity to meet exhibitors, discover different types of expertise and explore the flavours and traditions surrounding rum.

Rum: A Blend of Craftsmanship and French Guiana’s Heritage

Beyond the tastings, Salon du Rhum highlights the expertise and traditions surrounding rum. In French Guiana, this history is part of a living agricultural and cultural heritage.

Among the rum houses announced for the 2026 edition, Saint-Maurice, a distillery based in Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni, represents this local expertise. It notably produces La Belle Cabresse, one of French Guiana’s iconic rums.

By meeting the rum houses taking part in the event, visitors can discover rum from different perspectives and learn more about the stories, territories and expertise behind each production.
